PHILOSOPHY
OF THE SCHOOL OF NATURAL MEDICINE
The
School of Natural Medicine offers a comprehensive and
unique education in integrated natural medicine and
naturopathy, guiding students to becoming authentic
practitioners of natural health and healing.
The
School of Natural Medicine’s aim
* to provide a comprehensive education in natural medicine
and naturopathy, with small class sizes to ensure the
highest quality of teacher/student relationship.
* to help the student embody the learning and develop
his/her own inner wisdom and to encourage ongoing long-term
independent learning.
* to guide and support each student through their own
self-healing in order that they become authentic living
examples of the schools teachings.
A naturopath is a primary care practitioner educated in a
wide range of natural analysis and treatment techniques,
and employs these in consultations, educational guidance
and individual treatment healing programs, respectively.
The School of Natural Medicine emphasizes healing diets
(cleansing, fasting and rejuvenation), herbal medicine,
naturopathic treatments, flower essences, essential oils,
therapeutic touch, appropriate exercise, fresh air and
other simple lifestyle measures to bring the whole person
into a lifestyle that supports health and healing.
The School of Natural Medicine regards the human nature as
a whole – body, mind and spirit. Both physical and
mental/emotional health lifestyle is important.
All classes and modalities are integrated in the essential
philosophical approach of cleansing, rejuvenation and
transformation.
The School of Natural Medicine supports each student's
creative emergence while they embody the living archetype
of the healer and teacher. Quality professional skills are
combined with evolution of consciousness as the students'
embody the teachings and become living examples of the
teachings and guides for others.
