MASTER IRIDOLOGIST DIPLOMA COURSE MODULES (MIr)
'Iridology and the Foundation of Natural Medicine'
(total 90 hours plus Self Healing Module, Home Study Module and Case Histories)

The School of Natural Medicine, U.K. is affiliated with and it's Iridology Diploma course is approved by the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists.

Following are the educational modules for the Master Iridology course.
All modules have assignments– reading, creative, writing and practical.

SELF-HEALING MODULE
The highest level of training is your embodiment of the teachings in your life. We wish our students to graduate as radiant living examples and authentic teachers and guides for those seeking health and healing.

The self-healing module includes an in-depth consultation with either Farida Sharan or Bonny White, iris photography, iris analysis, educational instruction, and a three month personal healing programme.

LEVEL ONE - Foundation of Iridology – 36 hours

1. Iridology history, law of cure, stages of disease

2. Iris signs, pigments, structure and markings – Language of Iridology – and their relation to holistic anatomy and physiology, Hering’s Law of Cure, and constitutional strength and weakness.

3. Constitutional models – German, Australian, American, Faridian, Rayid,

4. Introduction to natural therapeutics: herbal medicine, naturopathy, nutrition, living foods, fasting, rejuvenation, reflexology, medicinal oils, flower essences, homeopathy, and bodywork, and how they can be utilized in programmes based on iris analysis.

5. Creation of art project: iris mandala – students create an iris mandala to explore and express their understanding of the effect that their constitution, inherent strengths and weaknesses, and related mental/emotional patterns have on how they process and experience their life and health.

6. Powerpoint slide shows of iris case histories and examples – recognition of iris constitutions and markings in the iris.

LEVEL TWO – Advanced Iridology – 36 hours

1. Nine body systems (nervous, digestive, lymphatic, urinary, reproductive, structural, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory) in the iris.

2. How to draw an iris - recognizing holistic A & P in the iris, recognizing relationships/radials line correspondences, constitution and primary markings and translating this visually to an iris drawing so that other practitioners can accurately understand findings.

3. How to take a case history – consultation protocols, case sheets, patient/practitioner relationship & ethics, communicating with a client, professional standards, etc.

4. How to create healing programs – utilizing the information from iris analysis to create effective purification, regeneration and maintenance programs.

5. Iris photography, computer programs, cropping, printing, filing systems

6. Psychological Models – constitutional life process, Rayid, Time Risk

7. Advanced natural therapeutics

8. Supervised practice of case taking and program creation

9. Review of home study lessons and assignments.

CLINICAL TRAINING MODULE – 18 hrs
Studies are completed with the Clinical Training module. This module may also be taken more than once by choice or staff recommendation, for continued advanced training in practice with clients for consultations, case taking, iris photography, client education, programme creation, and follow up skills, until required skills are achieved for graduation.

MASTER IRIDOLOGIST HOME STUDY MODULE IN DETAIL

Holistic Relationships, a dynamic way of understanding inner ecology created by Farida Sharan, is included in each body system chapter. Anatomy and physiology will never be the same again. In all chapters students color iris drawings, integrating left and right brain, logical and intuitive learning processes.

Lesson One
Philosophy of Natural Medicine: Philosophical principles of holistic medicine. History and chronology.

Lesson Two
Symbolic Language of the Interior World: Iridology equipment. How to read and draw the irises of the eyes for accurate case taking. Case sheets, maps, charts, Iridology dictionary.

Lesson Three
Iris texture, density, constitution and structure: American, Australian, German & Faridian iris constitution models. Iris colors, abnormal iris colors, psora or pigmentation, topostabile & topolabile pigments, sodium ring, heterochromia, sclera markings. Extensive charts and drawings. The language of Iidology.

Lesson Four
Iris Signs: Theoretically and visual iris signs vocabulary. Lacunae, reflexive fibers, radials, relationships, healing signs. Iris 15 color slide set with worksheets and case histories.

Lesson Five
The eliminative system: Main and auxiliary eliminative channels, iris evaluation, natural therapies to cleanse and activate. Foundation of purification, rejuvenation and transformation.

Lesson Six
The nervous system: Uniquely original chapter. Dr. Sharan¹s unique chart displays the many ways the nervous system is revealed in the iris. Autonomic nervous system, pupil dynamics and reactions, pupillary ruff or edge, brain areas and nerve rings. Treatment, charts, drawings.

Lesson Seven
The digestive system: Iris evaluation and natural medicine treatment. Holistic relationships of anatomy and physiology. Iris drawings and charts.

Lesson Eight
The circulatory and lymphatic systems: Iris evaluation, treatment, holistic relationships. Original Iris drawings and charts show fine detail.

Lesson Nine
The endocrine and reproductive systems: Iris evaluation, treatment and holistic relationships. Original drawings and charts. Rejuvenate glands and hormones.

Lesson Ten
The respiratory and urinary systems: Iris evaluation, treatment and holistic relationships, Iris drawings and charts.

Lesson Eleven
The skeletal and muscular systems: Iris evaluation, treatment and holistic relationships, Iris drawings and charts. *Quality, flexibility and strength of tissue integrity are the result of a balanced and purified inner ecology.

Lesson Twelve Iridian Psychology: History of psychological iridology. Mind/body/spirit was observed by pioneers from all ages and countries, correspondences to astrology, chakras, elements and emotions, kinesiology and organ and body systems, body/mind/spirit dynamics, therapies and higher values.

Lesson Thirteen
The Rayid Model: Overview: structural types, mental/emotional/physical bodies, iris rings, introversion/extroversion, hemispheric dominance, ascending and descending energies, universal rhythm and spirit, personalities, left/right brain, iris position, sclera markings, relationship dynamics, therapies and higher virtues.

Lesson Fourteen
Bach Flower Remedies. This presentation of the Bach flower remedies in relationship to iridology is a useful reference as well as a learning experience.
