NATUROPATHY
LEVEL I
(Total
30 hours)
Naturopathy classes include: naturopathy treatments, case
histories, nutritional healing diets, living foods,
philosophy of purification, regeneration and
transformation, fasting, use of herbal formulae in
healing programs, iris analysis and creation of students’
self-healing programmes and three days devoted to the 5
element systems, the foundation of all natural
therapeutics.

The
highest level of training is the embodiment of the
teachings in each student’s life. We wish our students to
graduate as radiant living examples and authentic
teachers and guides for those seeking health and healing.
An in-depth consultation with either Bonny White or
Farida Sharan, includes iris photography, analysis,
educational instruction, and a personal healing
programme.

NATUROPATHY
LEVEL II CLINICAL TRAINING
(total 96 hours as part of Naturopathy Residential
Retreat)
A year or more after beginning the training modules,
students attend Clinical Training during the Naturopathy
Residential Retreat. Here students mix with fellow
students from their classes as well as students from
other years. During CT emphasis is placed on an
integrated natural medicine system. Advanced information
is offered in iridology, herbal medicine, naturopathy,
medicinal oils, flower essences, living foods, iris
photography and iris drawings, subtle energy bodywork,
and reflexology in relation to clinical practice. During
this time students experience directly the benefit of
these modalities in an in-depth purification and
regeneration immersion.
Whether enrolled in one or all of three courses, both
training modules and CT provide the full foundation in
natural medicine therapeutics.
The Naturopathy CT segment includes advanced experiential
classes in:

MASTER
NATUROPATHY HOME STUDY BY LESSON
– all lesson assignments must be completed prior to
graduation
Lesson One
History and Philosophy. What is health? What is disease?
What is cure? After these prime questions are explored
with respect to Natural Therapies, this chapter presents
universal principles, laws of living and cure as well as
all the aspects of life that contribute to an
individual’s continuum of health or disease.
Lesson Two
Acute disease. After defining the symptoms of acute
illness, and studying the functions of the immune system,
this chapter delineates the different stages of
inflammation, differentiates suppression vs. elimination
and teaches naturopathic treatment of acute illnesses,
accidents and conditions.
Lesson Three
Chronic disease. This chapter shows how chronic disease
gains ascendancy and how treatment restores normal
functions and relieves the distress of chronic
conditions. Different systems of chronic care are
explored and approaches to treatment defined.
Lesson Four
Earth elemental energetics. The earth element and
corresponding emotions of fear and insecurity, and their
influence on health and disease are explored through
astrology, body shapes, polarity and zone therapy,
acupuncture, earth traumas, nutrition, minerals, tissue
salts, homeopathy, organic gardening, vegetarianism,
mineral waters, earth ceremonials and history, magnetism,
gravity, electromagnetic fields, mud, dowsing, sand,
climate, weather, geography, structure, crystals, gems,
pyramids, pulsors, and feng shui. Earth element diseases
of crystallization’s, hardening, blockages such as gall
stones, kidney stones, constipation and bone disease are
discussed along with treatment indications.
Lesson Five
Water elemental energetics. The water element and
corresponding emotions of desire and attachment and their
influence on health and disease are explored through
astrology, acupuncture, color, water traumas, water for
drinking and therapy, steams, mineral cold and hot
springs, sea water, urine therapy, Kneipp water cure
treatments and different ways water is used for
purifying, strengthening, toning, stimulating and
relaxing. Water illness involves urinary, reproductive,
circulatory and lymphatic systems as well as skin and
lung functions.
Lesson Six
Fire elemental energetics. The fire element and
corresponding emotions of passion, will and anger and
their influence on health and disease are explored
through astrology, acupuncture, body shapes, polarity,
zone therapy, Chinese medicine fire treatments, hot
baths, massage, fire traumas, fire constitutional types,
fire in nutrition, treatment of fire imbalances, climate,
geology, weather, seasons, saunas, sweat lodges,
sunbathing, cooking, light, body heat, fasting and diets.
Fire illness involves the digestive and circulatory
systems as well as body healing and cooling mechanisms.
Lesson Seven
Air elemental energetics. The air element and
corresponding emotions of speed, greed and love and their
influence on health and disease are explored through
astrology, body shapes, polarity, zone therapy, air
traumas, medulla, pranayam and breathing exercises, use
of breath for singing and chanting, air baths,
temperatures, climates, weather, seasons, air ionization,
pollution, radiation, fragrance, the nose, plants and air
purifiers and humidifiers, heating and ventilating
systems. Air imbalances involve the respiratory system
and its relationship to skin respiration.
Lesson Eight
Ether elemental energetics. The ether element and
corresponding emotions of grief and longing and their
influence on health and disease are explored through
reflexology, polarity and zone therapy, Metamorphic
technique, spiritual healing, Ayurveda, vibrational
medicine, aesthetics, the etheric world of plants, grace,
virtues, discrimination, morals, meditation, religion,
philosophy, psychology, ceremonies, rituals, initiations,
visions, positive thinking and affirmation, prayer,
visualization, self realization, God realization, wisdom,
gnosis, sound and music vibrational healing, light and
color and etheric medicines. Ether imbalances involve the
throat and lungs.
Lesson Nine
Heredity, sexuality, reproduction and regeneration. This
chapter explores karma, heredity, constitution, inherent
weaknesses, fertility, preparation for conception,
natural birth control, the sacred womb, feminism,
chastity, celibacy, Tantra, male and female energies,
conception, abortion, pelvic ecology, pregnancy,
midwifery, home births, active birth, water birth, post
partum recovery, bonding, baby massage, nursing, feeding,
infant care and childhood illnesses. This chapter gives
the opportunity to reevaluate and upgrade spiritual,
mental and emotional concepts about sexuality and
reproduction and offers regenerative natural therapies to
strengthen and improve our reproductive capabilities.
Lesson Ten
Life habits and personal hygiene. Know Thyself! The
search for a healthy lifestyle in relationship to each
unique individual is explored through daily habits,
eating patterns, body care rituals and products,
dentistry, bathing habits, eye care, nails, hair, women’s
period cycles, sleeping, leisure, art, music,
relationships, social responsibility, and inner and outer
ecology. All of our life must become conscious! Learn to
make choices to improve your life and heal yourself.
Lesson Eleven
Purification, regeneration and transformation. The above
three principles of our naturopathic course are fully
explored, with case histories and information on case
taking, case sheets, consultations, examinations,
observation, biotypes, different systems of analysis and
observation such as crystals, face lines, hair,
iridology, nails, posture, pulses, reflexology, sclera,
skin color and texture, teeth, tongue, and urine.
Lesson Twelve
Naturopathic Sanitariums. Descriptions of sanitariums and
their daily regimen are described together with
information on nature cure, healing crisis, fasting,
dietetics, exercise and guidelines for daily
programmes.
