New Moon Visions

I have long been a fan of the uplifting and
marvelously inspiring artwork of
Mara Friedman.
I was first introduced to Mara's art when she was
a student of
Dr. Farida Sharan.
Farida sent me several art cards, and was inspired
to use Mara's paintings in her book
'Creative Menopause - Illuminating
Women's Health and
Spirituality.

Over the years my fondness for Mara's work has only grown. The symbolic communication of what it means to be wholly female, without reservation or embarrassment, is an inspiration to those who experience her art. Mara's paintings are available in a wide range of formats from original canvases, art prints, Giclee prints, note cards, and even divinely wonderful prayer flags. Her website is www.newmoonvisions.com and I highly recommend a visit to awaken appreciation for the sacred feminine. You are also welcome to contact the School of Natural Medicine to find out more about Mara and how to order some of Mara's note cards or prints.
'Let the beauty you love be the beauty you do' - Rumi. .....a motto that, in our own ways, Mara and I have long shared.
Following are a few favorite Mara images....but first a photo of the lovely Mara herself.
