"Truth, Goodness and Beauty in the Healing Arts"

Mini Bio

I have experienced a rich and rewarding life in my search for love and kindness, knowledge, laughter, and adventure. The pursuit of these qualities isn’t always easy. Increasingly the world has become one where quality and content has been replaced by quantity and marketability. When deeper values really mean something to you, one can find oneself on a lonely path. As I have found though, kindred spirits abound. It is wonderful how many people there are that are genuinely caring and on paths of healing and personal evolution. This blog site is a way to communicate to these kindred spirits. People that long for goodness, truth and beauty in their lives, as I do in mine.

It seems when I sit to write about myself, that I have lived several lives in one. There is the academic life that has been integral to my existence, both formally, and without ceasing, in my own self guided way as I have pursued my inspiration and interests. I love to learn. Many are the subjects I have turned my mind to.

Formally, I am a
Naturopath, Master Herbalist and Iridologist. I have also studied with many of the pioneers in these fields including Dr. Raymond Christopher, Dr. Farida Sharan, Dr. Bernard Jensen, Harry Woolf, Dorothy Hall and others. I have practiced for more than twenty years and have found each patient to be my teacher as well. My studies have also taken me to India, Nepal and the Far East as I undertook a comparative study of constitutional types in Traditional medicine.

Informally, I have a passion for psychology, ethics, fashion, architecture, the contemplative arts, handcrafts, sculpture, children and animals, home and hearth. I like to do things well. It is my greatest pleasure to put my heart into what I do. I believe that presence matters.
